Greensburg, PA March 1, 2007 The World Affairs Council of Pittsburgh, in cooperation with the U.S. Army War College and the Eisenhower National Security Series, presents a special opportunity for high school students. In an increasingly globalized and interdependent world, what are the principal challenges to U.S. national security? How do we balance economics, diplomacy, and military strength in addressing these challenges? How are policies and strategies evolving in order for the U.S. and international community to deal effectively with security threats and to shape peace around the world? Learn about these and other issues from military officers from all the services who have first-hand experience of military operations and strategy at home and abroad. There is no charge for the Regional Seminar. Reservations are limited initially to 25 students per school and taken on a first-come basis. Schools may waitlist for extra places. We recommend that juniors and seniors be given first option to attend. Please note: Lunch is not included as part of the Seminar. For the Mt.
