Luncheon Discussion Groups

A special subscription series, available to Council members, inaugurated in 1946 involving at least eight off-the-record presentations each year by policy-level experts. Membership is maintained at a level that maximizes discussion between the guest speaker and the audience.

The list of past speakers is impressive and has included Heads of State, Ambassadors, top-level Cabinet Members, well-known academics, as well as captains of industry.

The discussion is informal and the setting is always pleasant.  Please be reminded that business dress is required at the venues that host these programs and we encourage everyone, including those subscribing to the series, to register for each luncheon at least a week in advance so that we reserve a spot for you.
