Created by teachers and educational consultants, Council lesson plans are exercises in critical thinking on complex and often controversial issues. Typically geared for grades 9-12, but may be adapted for use in middle schools.

U.S. Foreign Policy Scenarios
Ready-to-use policy problem-solving scenarios for teachers to utilize with students in small group simulations to help promote critical thinking on complex policy issues.

Background Papers
Highlighting a specific topic or region, background papers are written for the Council's annual World Affairs Institute, a major student conference focusing on issues of great importance to U.S. interests and policy.
